I had to talk to the people at the hosting company to get that issue over with, but now it's over. Server's up again.

All requests to the main server are currently blocked with a "we're dynamically scaling your database due to a sudden surge in traffic" message. This is supposed to only show for a few minutes then go away, but it has been showing for over an hour now, and is thus a major issue. The entire server does not respond to any HTTP requests.

I have directed a support request to the hosting company and hope to get to the bottom of this soon. This is frustrating. Thank you for your patience!

After the troubles Media Temple had last week disappeared, our main server is now stable again.

However, there is still an isolated speed issue related to the Botdom Wiki; it is crawling along very slowly with PHP page generation times often approaching a ridiculously high amount of seconds. This is being looked at at the moment.
